That’s a mid-late 90s style Pathfinder, from before the name became a glorified minivan.

That’s the Compass. It looks like that from the factory, sadly.

That looks like a well cared for Taurus. Those rear wheel wells are the first to go. Well the rear springs/struts are usually the first to go. No sag and no bits falling off.
RIP in peace Bullmobile

The license plate on the Taurus is P51-D aka one of these:
A P51 Mustang. It's a bull not a mustang.

Maybe a fighter pilot who gets his/her excitement in the air, because they sure won’t get it driving that car.

Depends whether it’s the SOHC or DOHC V6 under the hood....
If the former, you are 100% correct, even modded they are god-awful.
If the latter, they are actually pretty fun.

Or likes murdering people in a inconspicuous car.

I actually bought a ‘96 Taurus LX brand new. That had the Duratec (DOHC) engine - believe it or not, I really liked that car, and it had decent power.
The Vulcan V6 on the other hand, is just a boat anchor.

We had an 03 Taurus with the Vulcan V6. Custom intake manifold, cold air intake, custom headers, full exhaust gave it enough to chirp the tires on a neutral drop. It made my van with the 140hp 3.0 V6 feel fast.
It went in for repairs once and we got another 03 Taurus for a rental. That had the Duratec in it. My god was that a wonderful change. After driving that we immediately traded ours off.
